Metropolitan Building Wedding, Long Island City, NY: Alexa and Justin
As a Metropolitan Building wedding photographer I photographed all kind of cultural weddings including Jewish, Hindu and Muslim. The Metropolitan Building became what it is today only in 1980 when it was bought and revamped to be storage space for artisans. This wedding venue is a perfect location for a couple seeking a rustic feeling for their event. The walls are an exposed brick with a washed paint texture finish. The location has great spots for couples portraits, including a vintage hallway lined with mirrors. The reception hall is wide open with white square columns diving the room as well as hanging chandeliers.
