El Convento Hotel Wedding, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico: Raafni and Jose
El Convento Hotel wedding photographer flew all the way out to Puerto Rico to spend the weekend with this lovely pair for their destination wedding. Raafni and Jose wanted to marry in their home country and chose El Convento Hotel to be their perfect wedding venue. This structure was originally a nunnery and the entrance features a pair of Tuscan columns, two towers and a latticed choir arch. Vows were exchanged at the San Juan Bautista Church which was built in 1540 and stands as the oldest structure in San Juan. The structure was last renovated in 1917 and the entire is traditional and beautiful with high dome ceilings and paintings. It was a perfect background for some of the fun photos for the couple.
